It has a clear pear-like aroma, a refreshing aftertaste, and a strong sharpness. It goes well with a variety of dishes, from delicately flavored dishes to rich dishes.

The waitress recommend this very dry Sake when I asked her about "Dry and unique Sake". Its flavor is quite different from popular "Junmai Daiginjo sake", ex: Jicon, Dassai... In my experience, popular "Junmai Daiginjo sake" have something in common. I felt faintly acid, sweet pear and apple taste in it. But I could not feel them in this Sake, "Michisakari Super Dry". But its very dry and light taste is quite nice. I like this "gap" very much.
When I thought of ending with a dry sake, I noticed 'Michisakari' was available. Naturally, I had to try it. This 'Michisakari' completely ignores the typical fruity aroma and sweetness of Junmai Daiginjo, almost as if it's exclusively made for tough guys. There are times when you just crave such a dry sake. It's amusing, isn't it?
