• - There was a customer, who seemed a bit weary of life, lacks enthusiasm for both the drink and his surroundings. He has been drinking Maker's Mark out of inertia for many years, without showing any particular interest in the brand. In an attempt to ignite curiosity in the customer, the bartender deliberately pretended to make a mistake and served him this 'VIP' instead of the usual 'Red Top', thereby providing him with an opportunity to become interested in both the drink and the world around them.

"Spirits are truly amazing." It had been a while since I felt that way about a drink. When I entered this bar, the harmony of Japanese cypress scent and antique furniture made me feel like I had slipped back in time to the Taisho era, and I was deeply moved. I've had the current Maker's Mark, Maker's Mark 46, Maker's Mark 101, and Maker's Mark Cask Strength, but I hadn't tasted this one yet, partly because it's out of production. I was quite impressed when I tried it. It's noble yet modest, and it shares a certain foundation with the current one. It's quite good.
