So many bars, so many drinks

SPRINGBANK AGED 15 YEARS

Springbank 15 Year Old is a luxurious Campbelltown single malt whisky that has been matured in sherry casks, using 100% original spirits. The aroma features dark chocolate at the forefront, characteristic of sherry cask aging, along with notes of brown sugar, fruitcake, toffee, and almonds appearing one after another.

Well-balanced whisky [THE PEAT HOUSE]

The delightful aroma, reminiscent of a subtly nuanced Islay like Caol Ila, with a faint hint of twisting smoke, is pleasing. Upon taking a sip, the essence of a noble sherry cask, often associated with aged whiskies, is well-acknowledged, traveling from the nose to the throat as a refined and noble vapor. This is genuinely delicious. I couldn't help but wonder if its high price is not solely due to its limited availability but rather a result of its exceptionally refined taste. This was a drink that made me think, "Could it be that it's not just the scarcity, but its outstanding flavor that drives the elevated cost?" I would love to have this for a solitary evening of sipping, but unfortunately, the price is a bit steep.
