CRAGGANMORE 12 YEARS OLD

A sherried 12 year old single malt from Diageo's Classic Malts range, this bottling from the Cragganmore distillery represents Speyside and proffers a rich, slightly floral whisky with barley notes.

Was it Old Parr's key malt? [Mr.Mayer]

The reason I decided to try this whisky was because of something my father said while we were drinking Old Parr 18 Year Classic together.

Dad: "This is really good. By the way... my good friend T**A loved the Old Parr and used to drink it often ( ̄▽ ̄)."
Drinker: "Huh, I didn't know that T**A san liked the Old Parr ( ̄O ̄;)!"

The high quality of the Old Parr 18 Year Classic (PURE MALT / VATTED MALT) we drank together made this conversation memorable. We nearly finished the whole bottle that time (^ ^). Later, I wondered, "What exactly is Old Parr's key malt?" After some research on the web, I found out it's mainly Cragganmore (Speyside) and Glendullan (Speyside). Later, I bought this "Cragganmore 12 Years" and drank it with my dad, and he was impressed, saying, "This is delicious. It's called Cragganmore, huh ( ̄▽ ̄)." I was also impressed by its reasonable price and delicious taste. Since then, I've bought this whisky quite a few times for drinking at home. Sometimes I choose it at bars when there's nothing else I want to drink. It's just so easy to drink. And it's reasonably priced, too. I hope this price range continues forever.
