A strawberry cocktail based on rum and liqueur

I have a few bars that I regularly visit in Kabukicho (I don’t want to end up at a rip-off bar by walking into a random one). However, I wanted to change things up a bit, so I did some research and decided to try a new place. Considering the location, the bar had a selection of premium liquors and stylish cocktails. They had Suntory whiskey and even Dom Pérignon casually on display (￣∇￣). The menu was clear, and the pricing was transparent. I had a strawberry cocktail there. The sweet aroma of the strawberries, combined with the strength of the liqueur, gave the cocktail a balanced sweetness—not too overpowering, just right. It felt like an “adult’s cocktail.” As I drank it, the freshness and moderate sweetness pleasantly quenched my throat. The drink was easy to enjoy, with just the right amount of acidity providing a nice accent.
When I watched the bartender's smart and skillful movements while making the cocktail, I couldn't help but remember the manga "Bartender" and mentioned it out loud. It turned out the bartender was also a fan and we ended up having a lively conversation about "Mr. Perfect." Cocktails... it's a profound world, isn't it?
