"Carpe Diem Villas & Resort" Special Sangria

How to Make a Basic "Sangria"

Sangria is a representative flavored wine of Spain, made by combining wine with fruits, spices, and sweeteners. It is a traditional drink enjoyed in many regions of Spain, especially served chilled during the hot summer months.

Main Ingredients: Red wine or white wine (for white sangria), citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons, berries, sugar, spices (e.g., cinnamon), carbonated water, or orange juice.
Alcohol Content: Lower than wine, making it fruity and sweet, and easy to drink.
Color Variations: While red sangria is the most common, white wine-based "White Sangria" and sparkling wine-based "Sangria Cava" are also popular.

The welcome drink... is not available, huh... then I'll have this sangria, please. [Carpe Diem Hotel and Villas Palawan]

Back when I used to go to the city every day and work late into the night, I really longed for the time when I could leave the city and relax in the countryside... But after living a work-from-home life for so many years, even when I come to a space like this where I can relax, my heart doesn't flutter as much as it used to. Maybe it's because it's stress-free? Or perhaps... it's because in the Philippines, the beautiful seaside views are often accompanied by the "karaoke contests" that rob you of those sentimental moments ( ´Д`) Well, it's local culture, so foreigners can't complain, right? I'm glad I brought my wireless earbuds. I recommend walking along the beach listening to your favorite songs with the volume turned up. The sea is beautiful, but... it's a shame, really ( ̄O ̄;).
