"Apple cider" is a carbonated drink made from apples and is very popular in Taiwan. The carbonation is just right, making it very easy to drink, and it has a unique, nostalgic flavor that is indescribable when you drink it.

I felt like visiting a Self-Defense Force facility after a long time. I found out that I could attend the '73rd Anniversary Event of JGSDF Engineer School Camp KATSUTA' without prior registration. The 'Engineer' refers to what is commonly known as the 'Engineer Corps.' Their tasks are varied and include neutralizing minefields with various equipment, constructing temporary bridges capable of supporting tanks next to destroyed bridges, building defensive positions, and setting up temporary public baths in trenches and disaster areas.

After the attractions, I had my first taste of this Taiwanese apple cider in a special food and drink area set up within the stationing area. It's easy to drink, not too fizzy, and not too acidic. It's available in Japan too. I bought some to drink at home and found it really easy to drink.
