The first release in the new original series "AMERICAN DREAM BARREL" from Ken’s private brand "Ken’s Choice," created by Ken’s Bar master Matsuyama, is titled "The Independence." This single barrel, barrel strength bottling is made from Tennessee whiskey distilled in 2003 and aged for 13 years. It is a premium American whiskey that the Shinano-ya buyers have been purchasing from Whiskey Agency for some time.

I was recommended something even rarer. It's not as famous as Tennessee whiskey like Jack Daniel's, but it's a bottler release of "George Dickel," known to those in the know. And it's a 13-year-old one. The faint smell of 'CEMEDINE' that I haven’t noticed in a while was strangely comforting. It was delicious.
