Chivas Regal AGED 12 YEARS felt like just an ordinary whisky to me, but once you get to the 18-year, it suddenly jumps to a whole new level. I tried the 15-year one over 15 years ago, but I honestly don’t remember much about it. Still, I don’t think it had the same level of refinement as the 18. It's a really good whisky.
