So many bars, so many drinks

Asahi Kuro Nama Munich-Type

Asahi Black Beer, born in 1982, is a dark beer that traces its roots to the Munich-style dark beers that began to be popular in Germany in the late 19th century. It features a rich malt aroma and a smooth taste with a slight sweetness. This beloved flavor, long enjoyed at home and in beer halls, has been revived with a fresh new look.

The bitterness of this beer is starting to get addictive. [Bar Albero]

I didn't know Asahi Beer made a dark beer. It has a bitterness that's kind of addictive, yet it’s also easy to drink. I really like this one.

There's something special about the open-air atmosphere of a beer garden [Ikebukuro Tropical Night Market Rooftop (16F), Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro]

It's been a long time since I last enjoyed a beer garden on a rooftop. The warm evening air and an ice-cold beer—what a perfect combination.

I'd used self-serve beer taps before, but these days they have fully automatic machines that pour the perfect beer with just the right amount of foam. Whenever I poured one myself, I usually ended up with too much foam and had to wait for it to settle. It was always a little awkward when people were waiting behind me.

Times have certainly changed.
