So many bars, so many drinks

UNCLE NEAREST 1856 PREMIUM WHISKEY

Uncle Nearest Tennessee Premium Whiskey is entirely manufactured within the state of Tennessee. It utilizes Tennessee-sourced ingredients and undergoes double distillation in column stills. It is then mellowed through maple charcoal filtration three times. Aging takes place in American oak barrels, benefiting from Tennessee's warm climate and significant day-to-night temperature variations, which accelerate the aging process. The blend is overseen by descendants of Nathan Green.

I really regret not bringing my glass for tasting [PACIFICO YOKOHAMA Exhibition Hall D]

This was my second time attending a whisky festival, and yet... I completely forgot the lesson I learned last time: *"It's such a waste to drink expensive paid whisky samples using plastic cups."*

Despite telling myself that, I ended up making the same mistake again this time. Some of the whiskies were worth several thousand yen per glass, and drinking them from a tiny plastic cup just doesn't do them justice—the aroma hardly opens up at all. What a waste.

To make it worse, I only found out *as I was about to leave* that they were actually selling tasting glasses at the venue. What a disappointment—seriously.

Well, putting that aside... this “Uncle Nearest” was really good. I had never heard of it before, but I ended up buying a bottle for home. Personally, I felt it tasted better neat than on the rocks.
