The first time I drank Singha beer was... in Phuket long long ago, I think? My impression at the time was... "I expected it to balance out the relentlessly spicy Thai food, but the food was even spicier (it was painful)." I had it again recently, but it was drier than I remembered. I couldn’t really taste the subtle sweetness or richness that some people describe within the bitterness. But it’s easy to drink, and I think it suits hot climates well.
