A blend of sweet potato shochu from Hachijō Island and barley shochu — what an interesting combination. It has a light, refreshing taste that goes down smoothly. I felt that even people who usually don’t like shochu could enjoy this one. It’s truly easy to drink and pairs wonderfully with food. I’ve been to Hachijō Island a few times in the past, but since I didn’t like shochu back then, I only tried it once. What a waste, looking back now.
