BLACKADDER RAW CASK PEAT REEK AGED 10 YEARS
This 10-year-old Islay single malt, released by the independent bottler Blackadder, is bottled at cask strength under their RAW CASK label. It is non-chill filtered, non-coloured, and filled straight from the cask with natural wood fragments and sediment remaining.
That unforgiving edge is what I really love about it [Barley ASAKUSA]
I had Blackadder’s “Peat Reek” for the first time in a while. I really love that head-piercing intensity. It’s a dram best saved for the end of a session—after it, anything you drink tends to feel muted. I looked it up and was surprised to learn that there are actually several different Peat Reek expressions, including a blended malt. I had no idea.
