It goes down light and smooth, vanishing before you know it. If you like a crisp, refreshing beer, this one might be right up your alley. It pairs well with curry, too — it doesn’t overpower the flavors, but instead refreshes your palate with a faint, pleasantly bitter touch, making you ready for the next bite.
By the way, the vegetable curry here is absolutely outstanding.
I once had an Indian friend from work who was vegetarian back in his home country. He used to say that truly good “Indian curry” in Japan — even though the restaurants are run by people from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and so on — is actually pretty rare. And as for vegetable curry? “Out of the question,” he’d say.
But when he tried the vegetable curry here…Σ(◉⌓◉;) He suddenly went, “I’ll finish the rest of this — you, Mr. Drinker, go order something else,” and casually monopolized the whole thing. To be fair, it really was delicious. But… grudges over food run deep. I’ll probably never forget that moment for the rest of my life. (-_-)
