So many bars, so many drinks

Kaze no Mori Akitsuho 657

Kazenomori began in 1998 with the desire to offer locally grown rice, Akitsuho, pressed and served as fresh, unpasteurized sake to the people of the region. The name comes from “Kazenomori Pass,” a place name in Gose City. Located at the lush foothills of Mt. Katsuragi, the pass is known for the pleasant breeze that flows through it throughout the year.

For Kazenomori, Akitsuho—highly suitable for brewing—is sourced entirely from locally contracted farmers. Akitsuho 657 is one of Kazenomori’s long-selling labels. With aromas reminiscent of melon and pear, and a flavor profile where sweetness and complexity coexist, it represents the very essence of Kazenomori.

It’s a delicious and easy-to-drink sake. [UMATORA OOMORI TEN]

It had a pleasant acidity that added just the right accent to its drinkability, along with a restrained sweetness. It was a truly delicious sake.
