KIRIN BEER CLASSIC LAGER

For more than 130 years since the birth of the Kirin brand, Kirin Lager Beer has been enjoyed by generations of beer drinkers. Kirin Classic Lager recreates the flavor profile of Kirin Lager from around the mid-1960s (Showa 40 era), brewed using the same traditional heat-treatment method employed at that time.

With a focus on rich body, pronounced bitterness, and authentic beer character, Kirin Classic Lager is crafted and presented with confidence. We are certain that it will satisfy both those who fondly remember the Kirin Lager of that era and those discovering its classic taste for the very first time.

When I was a kid, this was the Kirin Beer label I most often saw whenever my parents and relatives gathered and had drinks together. [KAGETSURO]

I remember that this was the beer my cousins and I secretly tasted when we were kids at family gatherings on my mother's side of the family, sneaking a sip when our parents weren't looking. As I recall, my maternal grandfather often ordered it from the local liquor store. Back then, I remember thinking, "Why do adults enjoy drinking something this bitter?"
Now, however, I've become a beer-loving adult who's even older than my parents were at the time, and I find myself saying, "This bitterness is exactly what makes it so good!"
