Since I have become whisky lover, I have drunk whisky straight only at bars. But after I knew the cocktail world was also interesting, I tried whisky-based cocktail first. Ex: Rusty Nail, OLD FASHIONED, GODFATHER, NEWYORK ... And this Rusty Nail is very characteristic. Like special strong sweet cold remedy for old men. I found this cocktail at Comic Bartender. The story was interesting.

It seems they mixed 1950s Drambuie with the current one, then added Talisker 10. The salty, smoky flavor of Talisker was enveloped by the mellow sweetness. It felt like a well-balanced cocktail.
