An old release of Glenfarclas's popular 105 proof whisky. This appears to have been bottled in the 1990s and is presented in a tall bottle, rather than the squat/dumpy bottles that are used today.

I love current 105 and have bought this fatty bottle five times for drinking at home. And when I visited this brilliant bar that had large collection of vintage scotch whiskies, I asked the Bar owner if he had old Glenfarclas 105. "Certainly" he replied and show me this 105 Bot.1990s. It is said that "Ms Margaret Hilda Thatcher"(1925-2013) loved this 105. I don't know if it is true or not. But if so, she should have this old bottle. I felt I could share "time" with her after drinking a sips. I know some British hate "Thatcherism". But past is the past. Shall we enjoy good old whiskies here.
This is my second time to drank this full-bodied whisky. I felt "Woody", "Chemical" and "CEREAL" this time. Needless to say I prefer this old bottle to current bottle.
Can this one shot bring me one step closer to "Iron Gentleman"?
This is 4th time I have this Old Glenfarclas105.
