Grand Old Parr Bot.1950s/1960s Spring Cap

How brilliant this whisky is! [Cask Dor]

If you are lucky enough to live in the country where you can enjoy this kind of rare vintage whiskies and if you can afford to spend money on them, you should try them. You may have question that "Why there are such difference between current whiskies and very old whiskies?" I did have same question. Someone says once whisky was bottled, content never be matured. So if you feel "difference", it must be prejudices. but I don't think so. As human being love to make our work more efficient. This is basically good. but such "Efficiency" sometimes change how to make good whisky. And as a result the taste will be changed. For instance, if you have chance to try both GLENLIVIET 12 YEARS OLD -Bot.1970s- and current GLENLIVIET 12 YEARS, it is without question that you prefer GLENLIVIET 12 YEARS OLD -Bot.1970s. If you think current 12 years is better than 12 YEARS OLD -Bot.1970s-, you should find good bartenders who will teach you real good whiskies.

This time was the third time [Cask Dor]

This time was the third time for me to have this old brilliant whisky. Its aroma is faint, gray color and 'the basement' (Rancio). While drinking you can travel through Time. I love this!
