The GlenDronach 21 Year Old - Parliament

A 21 year old Glendronach released in 2011, and aged in a mix of sherry casks (Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximenez dessert sherry). The result is really very good indeed. Interestingly enough, this whisky has no political associations. It is, in fact, named "Parliament" after the collective term for a group of rooks - and there is a Parliament of Rooks living in the trees near GlenDronach...Non-chill filtered, non coloured.

Modest and syrupy-sweet taste satisfies you.... [At Home]

Modest and syrupy-sweet taste may enchant you. You can drink this straight. No dded to add ice. However, in my opinion, the taste is a bit modest or normal and can not surpass MACALLAN 18 yrs nor The GLENLIVET 21 Yrs.

Smell;modest and noble sherry smell

Taste:Syrupy-sweet , sometimes soap taste appears,

I felt .... red wine flavor from this. [The TRAD Yushima Ueno Bar]

When I drank this for the first time, I felt this was really noble sherry flavored whisky. But this time my impression was changed. I felt "red wine" inside this noble whisky. Maybe the reason was ... my first time impression was with new bottle which I opened at home and this time the bottle was uncork bottle at the bar, which seemed to have been pulled 1 or two month ago.
