So many bars, so many drinks

Scapa 16 Years Old

Scapa Scotch Malt Whisky is perfectly balanced end rich with a tang of ginger and sweet baked apples taste. Sweet and velvety on the nose with flavours of sweet clementine and heather honey. Rich long very slightly dry with the merest hint of the sea. Rich autumn gold colour. The bottle is a tall, commanding and elegant shape conveying the graceful and alluring nature of the whisky contained within. With a colour palate inspired by the striking blues of the Orkney landscape. The illustration of the lone boat in the protective, calm waters of Scapa Flow is suggestive of sanctuary and contemplation. Awarded by ISC 2009 GOLD MEDAL, IWSC 2009 GOLD MEDAL (Best in class).

Very smooth and easy to drink [At Home]

"Light" was my first impression. I tried this whisky at home first, then I tried drinking at bat but was not memorable whiskey. Easy to drink but not sweet, not peaty and not bitter. So... if I have to find some expression for this whisky, the word is .... "neutral".

Smell:Noble dried fruit soaked in alcohol

Taste:Light, a bit bitter soap, easy to drink, no deed to drink chaser, light.

Uhhhhhn. Easy to drink and taste good [BAR HERMIT EAST]

Tried drinking at bar but my impression did not change. It was calm and easy to drink.
