Asahi Premium Beer Jukusen
Asahi Premium Beer Jukusen is made with meticulous attention to the process of beer-making and taste, and also with an ear to the voices of consumers who love “real” beer. Three different types of hop—bitter hop, aroma hop, and fine aroma hop—are added in three separate portions to draw out the natural flavor of each, and the maturing process is lengthened 25% over the conventional process (in-house comparison) to extract a refined fragrance and lingering deep taste.

I like its smooth and slightly bitter flavor. I felt this beer was good aperitif.
Tempura with beer — it really does pair well, doesn’t it? [Ginza TEMPURA RENGE]
“Tempura and beer” really is a great combination. Come to think of it, at one tempura specialty restaurant I visited before, the draft beer was Asahi Super Dry, whereas here it’s the Premium one. It’s interesting to think that each restaurant owner has their own idea of the perfect pairing. The entrance was a bit hard to find—I think I even opened the wrong door by mistake, haha. Maybe that’s because it’s meant to be a “hidden retreat for adults”?
