Cuba Libre [Gosling’s Black Seal ver]

Cuba Libre or Rum and Coke but base rum is Gosling’s Black Seal.

Today, unlike most spirits, Black Seal includes products of both pot stills, as used in fine Cognacs, and continuous stills, as used in grappa. One imparts flavour, the other yields a subtle elegance. Together they work wonders.
Gosling’s Black Seal has a rich, intricate flavour, well balanced and nuanced with butterscotch, vanilla and caramel.

Rum and Coke, or a Cuba Libre[Spanish pronunciation], "Free Cuba" ("free" here is an adjective, not a verb), is a highball cocktail consisting of cola, rum, and traditionally lime juice on ice.

The cocktail originated in the early 20th century in Cuba, after the country won independence in the Spanish–American War. It quickly became popular across Cuba and in many other countries, and has been one of the world's most popular alcoholic drinks. Traditionally, the cola ingredient is Coca-Cola ("Coke"), and the alcohol is a Cuban light rum such as Bacardi. However, the drink may be made with various types of rums and cola brands, and lime juice may or may not be included.

Bits of glass plus taste like cold medicine make you silent. [moch]

When I visited Bar moch in Harajuku, I talked about Cuba libre[Ron Zakapa 23 version] to the bartender. After my talking, he told me that there were some customers who specified rum when they order Cuba libre. I was depressed that there are such guys. I am not special at all!!(-_-) Anyway I asked him to make the special Cuba libre for me. And he decided to use GOSLING'S RUM BLACK SEAL 151[Alcohol degree 75.5%].

Smell:Comfortable lime and bittersweet cold medicine for children.

Taste:bittersweet cold medicine for children with merciless strong alcohol degree made slaughter my mouth and a few seconds later cola and lime taste stop bleeding and calm my mouth. I like this multistage change!

Sometimes I want to try this strong Rum! [moch]

This is 2nd time for me to have this strong cocktail, "Cuba libre". But Rum is "Gosling's Black Seal" instead of "Bacardi". This time the bartender just float Gosling's on the ice. But it had still strong flavor. I love this strong flavor!
