Founded over two centuries ago in 1779, Bowmore is the first recorded distillery on Islay and one of the oldest in the whole of Scotland. Islay malts are renowned for their peaty smokiness and Bowmore is no exception. We carefully smoke our malt in a peat-fired kiln, just as our ancestors did over 200 years ago.

• - One day, Mr. Lion, who was the lead of this comic, visited one shrine where he saw one small fox like stone statue which was dropped on the ground and dirty with mud. He picked up it and cleaned it. And the next one young lady visited his bar.....

When I can't decide what to order at Bar, I order this Bowmore 12 yrs. When I drank this for the first time, I was really impressed with its flavor and taste. Not too smokey and not too mellow, not too easy to drink, not too be liked by everyone. As many whisky lover tend to decide to stop their journey to seek their most favorite whisky when they meet BOWMORE, I did feel this was the whisky I had been seeking. Now my most favorite whisky is not BOWMORE 12 yrs but I still love her.

Drinking Bowmore 12 yrs at bar "Dresden" in Shinjuku. .Here the price is not cheap but they fill a glass to the brim with whisky. This is one of the reasons why I love this Bar.

I love drinking whisky away from home too.

I really like this islay whisky. Sometimes I want to enjoy this aroma and flavor which make me feel grey stormy sea.
