Rum and Coke, or a Cuba Libre[Spanish pronunciation], "Free Cuba" ("free" here is an adjective, not a verb), is a highball cocktail consisting of cola, rum, and traditionally lime juice on ice.

The cocktail originated in the early 20th century in Cuba, after the country won independence in the Spanish–American War. It quickly became popular across Cuba and in many other countries, and has been one of the world's most popular alcoholic drinks. Traditionally, the cola ingredient is Coca-Cola ("Coke"), and the alcohol is a Cuban light rum such as Bacardi. However, the drink may be made with various types of rums and cola brands, and lime juice may or may not be included.

Evil Angel cocktail [Bar Dresden]

This is really really strong cocktail. This RONRICO purple (151 PROOF) RUM is very strong. You can feel coke and lime flavor, but you can feel them in a moment. Although the bartender recommend other RONRICO rum [white and gold], whose alcohol content is 40.0%, I deliberately chose this purple label whose alcohol content is 75.5 % (X0X).
